Sponsorship and Mentorship opportunities

F1 in schools is a STEM competition. You work in a team to complete a series of tasks and improve your skills in many different areas, such as public speaking. The main aspects of the competition are to build a F1 car, create branding and gain sponsors. To partner with 'sponsors' we need your support!

There are three levels of sponsorship available to interested businesses. If you would like to talk to us about sponsorship please Contact Us!

Blackboard

Gold Sponsorship

This includes a premier partnership opportunity with your logo appearing on the F1 car, all online forums, merchandise and printed materials. You will also get your business logo and name on the trade display and team uniform as well as our website.

 

Contribution:

  • $1000+ towards needed materials, equipment, services and travel

  • Mentoring students if industry is relevant
     

Return of investment:

  • Priority placement of company logo on all printed promotional material including; uniforms, banners, trade display.

  • Prominent placement of company logo on Phoenix Racing team web page.

  • Company profile on team webpage.

  • Company will have an exclusive social media campaign on our page.

Silver Sponsorship 

This includes a highly valued partnership opportunity with your logo appearing across a variety of media. This media includes Facebook and Instagram. Your logo will also appear on our website.

Contribution:

  • $500 towards needed materials, equipment, services and travel

  • Mentoring students if industry is relevant
     

Return of investment:

  • Logo on all printed promotional material including; uniforms, banners, trade display.

​Brad Jones Racing (BJR)

BJR have acted as mentors for Phoenix Racing. The BJR Supercar racing team is the only regional team in the Australian Super Cars Competition. Tony Woodward, Chief Engineer, is a past student of WWCC. Our team had Zoom meeting with Tony which really helped us. Tony walked us through the car and suggested improvements about aerodynamics, shape and aesthetic parts. He also talked to us about how to make our branding nice and eye catching. He also inspired us by talking about what he has done as a job and his role as Chief Engineer at BJR.

Hibbard Electrics is a locally owned electrical company who has supported many of the College STEM activities over the past few years. Pete Hibbard is passionate about supporting students in their learning. Please support them with your electrical needs. Hibbards Electrics is professional and quick with their work.

MHTG is a specialised provider of training & assessing in the transport, construction and resources industry in Wagga Wagga. MHTG has been a long-time supporter of student initiatives especially in the technology area. We value their encouragement and support.
